This is Nokia as we remember it from the times when the brand was cool. The Scandinavians celebrate the launch of its Lumia 800 phone with an open-air 3D video extravaganza to a funky beat in London.

While the show (and its branding implications) seem powerful, the question whether it will save the brand remains open. Nokia, the former global industry leader rolls with Windows, defending its market share from the omnipresent Android clones and sleek iOS gadgets. If there ever was a truly Nokia way of marketing, this is it; good stuff.
